Subject: [U21] World Cup vs Denmark

Hello all,

Tomorrow is the big kick off for the u21 team and we face a daunting task in trying to qualify from a tough group. Having lost our best in form Keeper and best Midfielder / Winger we are seriously up against it in an opponent who appears to be at full strength and predictably has a World Class striker capable of marks of 70+ already.

I have set the tactic already and am confident that we can create some serious issues for the Danish even without the players we are missing. I am waiting for some updates before I finalise the squad and orders etc.

The midfield is very strong, the forwards are the best we have had to date and the defence are not perfect but can do a job. Tomorrow is a key match, a win would see us stand a great chance to progress in this group imo.

That tactics are finalised and the team is also finalised, we are lacking a winger but will play with what we have. I hope we can cause them some problems.

Well 3-2 was not a hammering but we certainly should have won by more with 21 shots compared to 7. Really really pleased, just disappointed to lose a defender for the next game. :(

3-1 would have been fair :)

4-1 would have been fairer. ;)

Boo. A non weak manager would have won 21-0 with that amount of shots.

I make plenty of mistakes. We should have won by more and Mr G is right....me OUT!

I know that there are improvements I can make, nobody is perfect here. If anything we were too deep in the striking position, I did not expect such a deep defence to face us.

PS Give me Malte Berg the Danish striker and we would go a long way I think, what a player at such a young age!

So for all your moaning about how we have none of our top players available, we go and get an average mark of 60+!!

Looking pretty good, a nice sign for the rest of the group.

I hope so, but there is a reason I get higher average marks than you would expect considering the values of the players in our team and other teams.

Because we have better players ;-)

Well Poland got an avg of 55 too and I know we do not have better players than them. I wish we did I would love to try a campaign with their players thats for sure. ;)
