Subject: [NT] Friendly Vs Bulgaria U-25 Match

On saturday we take on bulgaria in a u-25 friendly match. I will be using players who i think stand a very good chance of eventually making it to the full n-t very soon, and there are a couple of players who will be playing that are already in the NT squad.

I have selected a very small squad of 17 for the match, and the tactics and line-up have been set. Not sure what time the kick-off will be as we are away, but I dont think it will be too far off our time if it was a home kick-off.

I think you must be confused. To have any chance of inclusion you must exclaim strangely. I thought this was common knowledge?

It's because I'm rubbish and haven't had any chances of practising for 4 seasons.

@Cartman - His form does rule him out im afraid, otherwise you would have had 2 players in :)

Kick off is at 1159 sk time.

Does Flowers gert a crack? I expect his form stops him too. :(

When i looked on the database it said he was 25 and had only just been updated, I have mailed the Bulgarian manager and apologised as I should have checked.

But tbh I dont think it would have changed the result at all.

You did really well today and the team performed excellently. :)

It was a very good rssult against what turned out to be a very strong bulgarian side. All of the players performed very well, and it shows that we have great players that can play at NT level, bearing in mind most of the squad were not even in my 38 man nt squad at all before this game!!! There will be quite a few who will now stay in the squad as a result of todays game.

How far off is Flowers from getting a game at u25 level?

Oh and Marc Blake is better than Brownrigg too. ;)

If his form was better he would have played today, but even if it doesnt improve i may use him in some games when I want to rest players to avoid them being missing for the major games. his tech i certainly a major plus point, what are you training him in atm?

In Pace, he is almost Unearthly Pace and should pop to Brilliant striker any day. He'll get pace for the rest of this season at least and depending on what happens I might get him to Divine Pace too. Striking wise I was looking to sell him on possibly as I am planning technique next which obviously is wasted for him. I might change though, we'll see. ;)

Maybe, but he hasnt been updated since February so didnt consider him tbh. again, like flowers, i may call upon his services later in the season.

and i have just looked through the Bulgarian side, they had alot of players who play regular NT football, so todays result is even better if you ask me ;)
