ncn fluked another 3-2 win out of me in the last minute after i went 2-0 up. Gutted.
lost 1-0 to slackers with 4 regular first team players out, seemed to make a huge difference to my team, especially in defence. But I am losing games by the odd goal atm against top half teams, and although it is getting frustrating to a point I think with luck i would have had 3 draws and possibly a win by now and be off the bottom!!! Oh well :(
You would manage far more goals and wins with 2 strikers....or a great striker on their own. You dominate so many games but lose because you have less teeth up front than England last night. :p
Quite likely. Not the easiest thing to do when training midfielders though. I wouldn't create as many chances though on the flip side :-)
I disagree a 442 would be as good as 541....probably better imo especially in your series.
With an attacker as a MID? How would that work for training?
I just set a defender as a midfielder, works fine so far.
Missed out on a win against Forest Reserves today. Dominated, but just couldn't convert the limited chances that we created.
Still, its another point in the bag. I have been happy with my sides performances given the trainees are still all very young and often out-classed at premiership level.
Edit: Out of curiosity, if you had my current squad (ie. a good set of 10 midfielder trainees) and a solid squad who can compete in the league, but a LOT of money in the bank, would you spend to make sure you dominate?

No play 3 defenders instead of 4 I suppose?
Play a mid with good defence at the back with mid orders??? Like at wingback?

Nothing if you have a great striker to score goals but DJ's is missing lots of chances.....
So get a better striker, with a new formation he may get less chances.
unexpected WO for me in a match i could have scored 10+
not great!
