Subject: How many juniors are in your junior team?

I started my junior team again last season after saving up some cash and I'm still struggling to get my head around it.

I keep open 22 places and was just wondering if its worth opening the full 30? Do juniors actually get training if they never play a junior game? Or is it that the coach won't guess the overall skill as good?

They all get training but the coach does not guess the levels as well for those who do not play.....I think thats right anyway. lol

Do the overall skill points get affected by this?

So say you have a junior that comes out as excellent, but the coach has guessed a level short so really he is formidable. Will his overall skill points be excellent or formidable?

Cheers Dale

No, befort the junior is ready for the first team, they are 'guessed levells' but once the junior is ready to premote, the real skill level is shown ;)

Any idea if they are going to do an update for the youth system as the whole thing is a shambles.
Would be good to know from the brains of England if anything is going to change in the near future

I don't know of any changes but then I am certainly not the brains of England either. lol

i think we should know the exact levels of the players so it is easier to moniter pops. like it was before. :(

I have requested that the entry levels be accurate so that we more easily able to monitor talent and pops etc.....its not going to happen though. I argued that for an Unearthly coach to be out by 2 levels is also extreme....again fell on deaf ears.

Nothing is going to change imo and thats a shame.

Ah right I see nice one.

not sure that's right - the overall skill level shown for the Junior is still only the guess i think. but the actual levels once promoted are not affected by the guess accuracy.

Just about to say the same thing. It can confirm it's still a guess, as i've left 'ready to promote' juniors just to check and it changes.

Cheers DJ

That doesn't change the overall skill points does it? So if the coach guesses the junior to be formidable, but he's really outstanding, will the skill points be similar to an outstanding junior?
2010-06-14 21:36:50
Yep, the skill points will be exact. This is almost definately why steelers has been asking for the skill point info per junior level :-)
