Subject: [U21] Friendly Vs Chile

Tonight the u21 team take on the highly ranked Chile side who defeated us in the group stage of this seasons World Cup. We deserved far more from that game and although we are weakened tonight I expect a decent performance where a win would hopefully see us back into the top 16 teams. We are currently 17th.

I am sure people will be watching the real England team play but the game kicks off our time 8.29 tonight. ;)

Did they tell you in advance they would play their U-20's?

No and I never noticed that either. I watched the England game and then this afterwards. I was not in the best of moods after England game and did not take much notice of the ratings or team marks afterwards either.

That does take the gloss off though.....they have some nice 20 yr olds thats for sure!

Why are you not playing 20 year olds?

I will be soon. I have not had any time to scout them out lately. I am also trying to increase our world ranking so that I hand the team over with an easier qualification group for somebody whomever it maybe.

I can understand the time to scout. The other excuse doesn't fly, U20/U21 you can improve your ranking either way.
