I was criticised slightly in the past for playing under age teams when against other nations and losing ranking points due to it. This season I have given the u21 players as much of the season as I can, then within a couple of weeks I will try to have a clearout and bring in the next age group. I have no scouts which does not help....plus I have to rely on people answering when I ask for updates.

I'm not suggesting playing 20's against 21's. You have to agree before the match and trust the other coach. There is a small training boost to consider by playing the 20's.

I don't mind doing it, and the training benefit is now larger for International matches. Therefore I will get around to it, but I will play the u21 again this week whilst I scout the 20 yr olds out. ;)
