Subject: [NT] Friendly Vs Austria

We take on Austria in a friendly on saturday, they are a top side and it will be a very difficult game. We have agreed not to use full usual NT starting players, but ther are no other restrictions. i will be using players that are in my 40 man squad rather than scouring through the database as i havent had that much time this week due to family commitments. I will try to use the younger players, but i will also use the players that are out of form to try and see if it gives them some kind of form boost before the next 2 WCQ games (but not out of form strikers!). I am not too worried bout the result from this match, although it will be good to see how the fringe players get on against a strong team.

Its been the same for ages, in the u21's too.

Personally i think there needs to be a better incentive to make people stand up and notice. Maybe an automatic message to say your player has been picked/played for your country along with some other additional benefits. I mean Bensted has played some games but i had no idea at the time.

Thats a good idea - you should raise it in Bugs / Ideas.

nah a notification when a player is selected. No notification when they are punted and no notification when they actually play the game.
