Subject: todays games 8/8/10

how did everyone do today?

i beat last years league winners toon united 8-3, having a 7-0 lead at half-time. hit the woodwork twice as well :) really happy with that result, after making a new 451 tactic for it, which has worked nicely :D

lost 4-nil somehow, had a mark of 7 better but could not score, probs because two first team strikers were out so had to play a defender upfront

I scraped 1-1 against Gooners. Tough match, and lost my keeper for 29 days which might seal my relegation :(

6-0 against a bot.

Pros: We won
Cons: Worst shooting every from a s/divine form stiker with formidable striker. Shots, 19, Goals, 3.
And an injury which prob means a week of missed training for a player.

Beat Cray Wanderers 5-2, so a nice change to actually begin winning again!

lost 2-0 against another newly promoted team...not enjoying div II and still have the bigboys to come.money generator season before i go back to where i belong in III...might have to avoid watching games live to save my laptop getting thumped!!

Messed up and guessed the lazy Phil would play a left winger. Played my strongest quickest defender on the right very wide due to it.

This put me up against it, having already being weakened by last weeks red card and injury to then lose my defender to injury marking his winger made things worse.....as he was replaced by a poor reserve.

Then to make things worse I lost my next best defender marking his striker.....ironically this game seems to continually screw my season up early on with injuries and red cards.

I messed up the tactic and deserved to lose, but to keep losing training and players for games so consistently is starting to grind on my nerves a touch.

won 9-1 against a bot, though i got fustrated earlier during the match. had the same problems as lostprophets, and also i had players with more or less ok playmaking skills, making lots of crazy decisions, etc

Phew, just about got out with a win against 9 man Armitage Shanks, he guessed(I think) that I'd swap my winger which meant I was struggling from the off, still I'll take the win.

All it would have taken for you to have had a totally different result is for you to have mirrored your tactic!

My winger was set to ATT orders and I noticed he often ran towards goal rather than directly down the line. As you had injured your defender I got away with it, but it wasn't ideal. Next time I will try him with DEF orders to see if there is a different approach.

Lost 5-2 to Woppa-bot despite having more shots on goal with a superdivine striker who is so good, he'd rather hit the bar constantly for fun and added challenge. An "Outstanding" shooting score only adds to the irony.

I know, I am a bit disappointed as I would like to have seen how things panned out if I had guessed the winger the right side. I think he would have certainly made a big difference for me, as it stood out so wide on the right it was like having 10 men from the start for me. Anyway well done. ;)

My formi is so good he doesn't need to get his shots on target ;)
