In other news, all the U-21s that I've picked for the first 11 against the USA came through unscathed. Yay ! Sadly, Josh Kilvane who was to be a sub, is injured for 29 days. Ouch. So that's me looking for another MID sub...

I have somehow managed to scrape another round out for my reserves. Really pleased to have made it this far and even though I gave away 6 rating points tonight I dominated and deserved to shade the game........no injuries either!!!

I totally forgot that red carded players in the league cannot play in the cup... I fielded 10 players anyway due to not having 11 available

Now Im out of the cup, and my players don't receive training this week

Won 2-0 with the mid trainees - awful game and a 29-day injury to one of my more promising juniors. Bugger!

Lost 9-0 with my reserves and trainee defenders. Not surprised.

Reserve keeper injured for 23 days to add to the 29 for my first choice keeper on Sunday. Good job I bought a bargain basement 3rd keeper an hour before kickoff otherwise would have lost in double figures.

Anyone setting up a friendly league?

Managed a nice comfortable 7-1 win this week.

With any luck my league fixtures will allow me a real run at the cup this season.

Won 5-1 with my reserve team, and my opponent put their ticket prices up so with a 21000 crowd I got 91K playing away from home!!! Happy days, got a tough draw next round though, might struggle to get through.

I have decided to play my first 11 next round due to being on holiday it will ensure that I get a fixture the following week hopefully. Means an easy league game this week for my opponent but missing 2 key players already I would have lost anyway.

Just noticed I'm at home from here on in, looking forward to facing some of the top teams ;-)

I played my first team again. Got through, but ballsed training again.
