Moldova beat Luxembourg 6-0, and the Swiss beat Vietnam 3-0. Moldova could be a dark horse, as they are getting similar ratings to USA.

Both sides have since had 1 on 1 chances that have been saved.

We've just about been on top, but they are managing to get a few 1 on 1's, the slight injury to their main striker could be decisive, though we've got 3 on yellows, almost had a couple more chances from crosses aswell(us).

Our mids being a little more defensive is allowing us more of the ball.

1-1, they subbed their main ATT.

Couple of Q's(for ncn) do our defs struggle a little on the def front? Secondly do some of our mids lack a little in the tech dept, and was this the reason for the deepish midfield that pushed up quickly?

It's not easy to discuss these questions in a public forum, doing so might ( or might not ) give away too much to our opponents :). It's safe I think to say that very few players are complete at 21 years old, which results in the kind of matches you've seen here.

I was worried about the rotten veg that would have been thrown had we drawn or lost. When that goal went in on 86 minutes, well, let's just say I was relieved !

Here's the current table, we sit in third on goal difference behind Moldova and Switzerland. Next week is the U20 match vs China, the next big match for the U21s is a crunch game against Moldova in week 5, who seem to be very organised.
