Picked up a nice 5-0 win today.

Armitage Shanks used a decent defensive tactic, but my player strength made the difference.

Looks to me like your tactic was pretty suicidal against a decent winger.

Unfortunately i was sat in a car park setting up my team for tonight. Not seen the match but obviously very one sided; i don't think i've ever had 0 shots before!

For the record, the tactic i set was the same one i specifically made late in the cup rounds last season to good effect.

Pretty annoyed my supporters are now depressed, i had zero chance of winning that match.

They expected a close match.

I had similar situations last season when I would be using my reserves, but every opponent would play their first XI against me.

imo, that's the main problem with supporter mood/expectations - in rl your supporters would know if half their first 11 were injured or suspended, etc. But in SK no allowance seems to be made for this knowledge by supporters...

big clubs are expected to have cover I guess

ironically my aim this season was to focus on the cup at expense of the prem, but got hoofed out before I had even got round to doing that..

im through.......( sporting wood ).......and i played the premier league leaders. i had a 2-2 draw with him in Div 2 last year but cant help thinking he maybe rested a few. Still i was hoping i had a squeak of a chance and am delighted as i normally go out of the cup early to get my reserves trained. Good luck to all who are left.......cya in the final ???????

Well done, even the freakish own goal wasn't enough to save me. I figured I had about a 40% shot against your strongest side with my trainees mixed in, and so it proved. Another cup round would've been nice, and I could've trained stamina when I eventually came up against Phil, but I can concentrate on causing more Prem upsets now. With so many pace trainers in the Prem it's given also-ran II sides something to aim for - which is great.
