Hi all

This Friday we play a U-20 friendly against Uncle Bulgaria. Being a genial, kind fellow in his older years, he appreciates giving youth a chance.

So that we may take full advantage of the senior Wombles' generosity, I would like as many updates on 19 and 20 year olds as is hoomanly possible tomorrow.

I will provide match link here on the day.

Many Thanks

NcN

Re: the kindly uncle, apparently he also remembers the days before you were U21 manager... ;-)

I hope Hughbert Hollis gets a game to shine? ;)

you are so leftfield sometimes it's a wander you're not covered in ditchwater.

Why thank you. It's a shame really that, being right-footed, I couldn't claim to be England's answer to the "problem position".

The problem position, I haven't tried that one...
Here are the 16 in alphamabetical order :

Austin Beardsley
Clive Collic
Max Crittall
Winston Fountain
Toby Haylock
Kirk Hoddinot
Hugh Hollis
Matty Kinch
Walter Lambshead
Troy Seccombe
Wesley Slater
Glen Tickell
Vinay Walby
Dale Watcham
Riley Woods
Alex Yellop

Hollis should get 45 minutes. I can't offer him more as his form is so low. Slater will replace him at half time.

Hes your best striker thougth....such a shame. :(

Having looked at his graph it would appear the trend is now on its way up I hope. It used to be 17 but dropped for a while.
Kingsley Woolly, age 19, unearthly form

8-2
9-5
9-7
10-5

One to consider with form and stamina?

It's a downright irritation, but if I can use a superdivine form player who is 3 or 4 levels worse overall, I guess I have to. This time I'm reduced to using one in incredible form I think.
he'll be too young / unready for the world cup finals sadly. I'm trying to put a squad together for next season in these games.

Well that didn't go to plan.

They set a good formation, I didn't change ours. Hollis and Slater both had decent shooting positions, but were stopped before they got their shots away.

If you're going to lose a game in a season, make it a friendly I guess.

Indeed, bad luck. :)
