I've won 2-1 against the team I've lost 6-1 last week; the only difference was that i swap wingers from one side to the other; am i genius or the engine is f.......d?

That would depend on if your opponent's formation was balanced...

There's certainly a random element, i drew 3-3 against a team i beat 2-0 last week with fundamentally the same/similar tactics and players.

Only real difference looks to be that you finished your chances this week.

ok 1 or 2 goals, but from 1-6 to 2-1 it seems to be a big difference plus tonight's game was away... still don't understand

just one of those things I guess... tonight I squeaked a 1-0 win. Yet last week I beat the same team 6-1 - I did get an injury midweek so fielded a slightly weakened team tonight, but still...

The only obvious difference - my striker scored 5 from 11 last week, yet the same striker in even better form this week scored 0 from 8 - maybe his striker also had an off-day?

At the end of the day, tactics and players are just a way to influence random luck. A good luck day could ultimate see a 1-0 win when you had 48 shots against you, just wouldn't happen too often!

last week 1 won 1-0, this week same opponent 3-0 after going a man down 10 minutes in... the big difference for me was shots converted.
