Tomorrow the England U21s play Moldova, who have a decent first 11 but have been unlucky with some close results. A shock is not out of the question against them, but we won the first game 5-2, so I'm hopeful of a win. Switzerland and USA should have no trouble getting 3 points, so a win would give us a 5 point cushion with 3 games to go.

Group Table :

1. England U21 6 5 1 0 27-8 16
2. Schweiz U21 6 3 2 1 16-7 11
3. Moldova U21 6 3 2 1 16-8 11
4. USA U21 6 3 1 2 20-10 10
5. Lëtzebuerg U21 6 1 0 5 7-35 3
6. Việt Nam U21 6 0 0 6 3-21 0

I'll admit I'm surprised Beardsley is in the squad, it would be fairly impressive for a 20yo apart from the fact there's a 19yo likely to keep him out of the team.

Also he popped in a skill today, I'll go and update him for you.

I put him in there a) to encourage you, b) to encourage others to give me updates on their 21 year olds - at the moment he is eclipsing the last skill updates I've been given on these players, which was in July.

Congrats on the win.

Thanks - I have no idea how they didn't score. I know why we did though, their defence sits way too deep.
