Tonight at 8 30 we take on Switzerland. If we lose to switzerland, and the USA beat Moldova by 7 goals, we would qualify second. Switzerland still have a chance of qualifying if they beat us or draw and the USA fail to beat Moldova.

you should lose on purpose and hope Moldova beat USA, all to piss off the USA coach after his "we are the champions" link....we're a bitter nation! :)

I think the swiss are good enough to win without me throwing the game, and I need as much practice against decent teams as I can get, especially after last week.

I've gone for something of an experimental formation for this game, well 2 formations really. I'm hoping that it will work, but we'll wait and see. If it does work, maybe it's a blueprint for next season. If not, well, back to the drawing board I suppose...

Why Beardsley over Tickell when the same in all def skills apart from Tickell having better passing and stamina with Tickell now in better form?

I think his technique put me off in our game together. Beardsley has better ? I didn't check the form to be honest, but I've only selected him as 2nd reserve mid for this game. I've been more careful with the first 11. I think...

2-2 at half time, we've missed a pen and they scored an own goal.
