Well, it's been a funny old season. We were running away with the qualifiers, and managed to qualify with 2 matches left, before losing both of those matches and finishing 1st on goal difference. Since then we've managed to lose 3-0 to a team 15-20 places ranked below us in a U-20 game. To be honest, not a great platform to stand for re-election on.
Having said that, we did qualify in first place, which isn't all bad.
Whoever gets the job for the world cup season is going to have a harder time, and a worse team than I had in the qualifiers. We had an absolutely top notch midfield for the u-21, Del Bradridge was a killer winger. The current crop of 21 year old midfielders lack technique, and it appears that most of the trainers of NT players are currently favouring pace over other skills, in most situations, apart from defence where we have a crop of high-level, but slow defenders who can't pass trap a ball or pass their way out of trouble.
We do have 3 or 4 nice strikers, but until quite recently the 2 best strikers have been in terrible form.
So that's the excuses out of the way - a vote for me is a vote for continuity. He said, on the back of 3 straight defeats... :-)

Superb - a new tagline !
Vote for me, I upset Mattius !

Have you upset anyone else?
You get my vote if you upset phil or wdp!

I think the original Phil Price Index of 4.5 million was my original observation - he may have laughed it off, but I think it upset him a bit. Being a shameless attention whore, I'm happy to take a vote in lieu of royalties.
What about wdp? It could be crucial to your re-election.
He's quite a difficult bloke to upset, but i think he was annoyed, or at least bothered, by me selling on his precious Herbski after I said that I wouldn't.
i hope there are more people oping to stand for this job..
Why don't you run as a protest candidate ? The anti-nil ?
Is that you wanting me to run for election again? :p
Your love for me is well renowned. ;)

Good luck you shall have my vote. You certainly deserve a crack at the finals imo.
I suppose if I lose all 3 group matches I don't have to run for re-election, so what is there to lose ? :-)
