To All,
It is now my time to depart as manager of the English NT, and as I look back over the last 2 seasons I can see that there has been some highs, but far too many lows for my liking!!
Beating Poland and leading us to another WC appearance is a high, but our dismal showing in the WC and some of the results since have been a bit of a downer for me personally. I just wish that i could have some how put more effort and time into a job that demands it, but at least looking forwards we have a new manager who is full of beans and very well liked and respected by the English community. He is a great manager and did a fantastic job at u-21 level which I am sure he will take onto the full NT stage. I have already given him my support and i have said that i will assist him in anyway that I can should he need it, but I am sure that he wont need my help at all!!!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the help and support during my two stints as Englands NT manager, and i hope that you continue to do this with WDP.

ps - WDp asked me to set the tactic and line-up for our first WCQ match at home for Brasil as he wont have time after being on holiday, so blame me if it goes tits up not him!!!!

neither :) I am not going for any NT roles anymore, but i will assist WDP if he wants my help :)
