i got this dude a little over a season, these are his original stats.
Johan Pereira , age 17
value: 44 850 £
weak stamina tragic keeper
very good pace average defender
unsatisfactory technique good playmaker
poor passing hopeless striker

ok nothing amazing but still promising.
he has been popping in hes attributes much more quickly than any player i have ever seen on this game and now looks like this:

excellent form, adequate tactical discipline
height: 181 cm

how much do you think i could sell him for now and do you think i should sell him now or in another season when i reckon i can get hes defender up another 2 maybe and pace possibly another 1?

i have other decent young defenders but this guy just keeps on popping

What are you training now? If you can get is defender upto incredible he will be worth a lot of money next silly season..

im training defence at the moment, last season i started training pace for first half and def for second, im gonna keep it on defence all this season probably because i got all my defenders pace up to at least solid.
how much (as an estimate) do you think he will be worth with incredible defence then?

pace being lower is always more valuabe as there are a hell of a lot of people out there who train it.
they see him and only have to train him in pace for the season and he is also a first team regular for them so they just want money back or slight profits in 1-2 seasons time.
always form profits i find having the other skills a level or 2 higher is more profitable

also as with any players training them until 23-24 is when they make the highest profit for you, although to be honest defenders sell highest at 20/21 because people want to train them for the U21 teams etc...
i hafnt really focused much on watching how the mids and striker U21 players vary in price before and after being 21 so cant comment on them.
if you can get him to U21 team or panel then he is worth quite an amount to someone in peru :)

With defending as Incredible , for Perera it would be around 800k - 1.2 million at age 20 or even more during silly season.

Don't sell him as he will be of great use to you unless you need the cash.

really that much. and yes i probably would need the money by then, i am as you can see only 2 seasons in, missed out in my promotion game and am still div 4 with 250k debt. if i could get 800k for him then i could be sorted for trainees for a while. when exactly is silly season? is it in between seasons?
he would be great use to me but i much rather need the money.

First 2-3 weeks of a new season. Starting from when players all age up and managers all get their nice bonuses.
