Hi guys,

Well its the big kick off tomorrow and despite not having access to the database yet I have cobbled together a side. I have chosen a tactic too which I hope suits the players I have both available and in form.

I am not sure what to expect tomorrow as this will be my first match. I aim to put together some new tactics this coming week and improve the database info if it is required.

The team tomorrow will be from the following players.

Squad
Ahmed Leggett
Kenneth Sunter
Harry Hardcastle
Thomas Hainsworth
Terry Bensted
Harvey Stavely
Anton Wanlace
Stuart Goater
Ryan Blunsden
Julian Willows
Scottie Dexter
Cory Stroud
Alfred Shannon
Bobby Stroud
Kris Hagan
Albert Bromage

I am not expecting a miracle from the first match as I am not sure how the side will play, but I am very hopeful that we can have a good season. Enjoy the match and please feel free to comment on both negative and positive parts of the game.

Tactical input will also be appreciated and I really want users to get more involved in the NT and U21 sides again.

We are at home tomorrow and have a kick off of 13.00 sk time, 12.00 our time I believe. :)

Thanks again

thats not very organised is it!!!! This single game could be your downfall!

:p - I just knew you'd pipe up. lol

I have access to the player skills now. I would like a little more tme but I am confident of creating chances and hopefully finishing one or two whilst making their lives hard. ;)

as for the group, it will not be decided on the first game only. :p

of course it will. You will bring serious shame to your country if you cannot beat a team that Wales whipped when Langhe was in charge of them. Imagine his bragging already ;) that is motivation enough to GET YER FINGER OOT!

Excellent performance from the team, we won 4-2 and had possibly the best of the play. We were fortunate that they had 3 injuries whilst we had none.......but its a great start and we are now looking well set for the qualifying campaign I think. :)

Tactically there is probably little I would change there, we sometimes threw to the winger who was marked but the space was tight and at times his pass back to the thrower and subsequent cross from that player caused all sorts of danger.

Comments would be most welcome. :)

Thanks as always. lol

Cheers Phil......really pleased that the changes I made worked. We played identical formations, our striker made some nice runs though onto some through balls whereas their striker never really threatened apart from headers.

Once again coach WDP proves why He is the right lubricant required to run a smooth Qualifying campaign.

A rather quaint metaphor there, but it makes the point :)
