Subject: Tonights FA Cup games

How did others do?

I somehow am still in the cup after a 9-0 win tonight. My Magical pull proved he was at the right level when pulled in the 40th minute with an obscene piece of skill. I am amazed my trainees have made it this far tbh......next week surely my luck will end.

Something odd's going on with my game - it hasn't been played yet although all of the other cup games have finished!

There was a game processing stoppage leaving 2 cup games and friendlies unprocessed I believe, my match just finished.

I have reported it for you anyway.

i am through after a 3-0 win over stamford lions with a full reserve side in place, was fully expecting to go out tonight so shocked when i saw my result!!!

The cup is SOOOO 2008.

gutted really if you watch the match i was on fire!!! And i was playing a weak squad against a full strength squad of them! And their in the Welsh Premier!

Picked up a nice 5-0 win tonight, now I will definitely be drawn at home for the next round.

Actually I make you the 8th highest ranked side so that would make you away still surely?

I will definately be at home however. ;)

My ranking has increased this season...

Is it not based on current rank then?

I thought it was the team with the bigger stadium hosted?

Then surely all the top teams would host the early rounds?

I won 2-1, but needed a couple of first team MID's. I've got the highest ranked II team next at home; Liverpool FC who got marks of 60 in their last cup game :s

Oh well, at least i can get some decent gate money!

In each round the teams will be allocated into two baskets according to their seeding based on their previous year's ranking point as of Monday of week 15, with the 1st basket containing the "strongest" 50% of teams, and the 2nd containing the "weakest" 50%. Once this is done, the pairings will then be random - i.e. any team from the 1st basket could play any team from the 2nd basket.

I have Herbs next at home, should be a bumper crowd as both sit top of their respective II's. I shall bump the prices of seats accordingly, I will probably go out this week but the run has gone for far longer than expected anyway. :)
