Hard luck fella. I scraped an underserving 2-1 win against the league leaders. I was heading for a draw until bensted had a free run down the wing after a red card to his full back which inevitably led to the winning goal. I should have made a new tactic but the one i picked was poor so no excuses.
However, some of the panic passing by my defenders was odd to say the least. Also, i have no idea what my offside was about on roughly minute 55. Any ideas?

your guy was offside when the ball was played toward him (even though he didn't touch it), then the defender miscued it behind him...
all I can think is that the ME decided that your guy would have collected the ball after the miscontrol, so would have benefited from being offside?

That i can understand, but i thought he'd have to touch it first!
Just after this offside, i did swap my wingers over. Perhaps the match engine says he did touch it when switching to the other side of the field but it's a display bug? :S
