wdp74 to All
On Saturday we face the mighty nation of the USA, World Cup Finalists (under a weak manager I cannot recall his name), however I hope that I can continue my winning streak with the NT and keep the steady climb going in the rankings. As this is a friendly I will be playing mainly B team or players whom could do with the extra training.

I will almost certainly create a new tactic and have a tinker to see what things I can try and achieve in Full NT, so far things have gone well however and I hope things continue.

Please update all players if you can and once again thanks for any input you have in advance.

Thanks again

Bensted! Or is he too strong for this?
2011-01-06 17:27:38
Considering I have played him most weeks do you really want him risked in a friendly match? :p

Or his this a poorly veiled attempt at getting me to say he is like a god? lol

Why O Why O why do these yanks want to get thrashed by us all the time... :P

I think USA's record is actually fairly good against England.

Apart from when you managed them. ;)

The team is set and tactic chosen, due to not having a lot of updates....and I mean a lot.....I have chosen a B team and asked for a lot of updates, due to this I have chosen a tactic already made.

Hopefully we can avoid a defeat but we are lacking decent depth.

The team is as follows:

Squad
1 Jay Veley
2 Ivor Norris
3 Cory Stroud
4 Charlie Blowers
5 Thomas Hainsworth
6 Carl Godber
7 Ryan Blunsden
8 Rick Beales
9 Ben Sedgwick
10 Jez Ali
11 Ethan Buddle

12 Lee Stunt
13 Julian Humphreys
14 Viv Sear
15 Oscar Ward
16 Jordan Gelder

We are at home so kick off will be at the usual time, enjoy. :)

Thanks again

3-1 up atm....suicidal defending from USA
2011-01-08 13:14:06
4-2 up but red card to a mid - at half time now.

Currently 8-2 up with 10 men for the whole 2nd half. :)

Finished that way, really pleased to win again and should move up the rankings after this win against the US who were ranked No.8 before todays game.

Thanks. :)

That USA tactic was one of my faves!

It was designed for far weaker teams though.

Well I did field a B side mainly apart from Blunsden and possibly the keeper if form issues arise in other keepers. It was suicidal though imo - against England anyway. Ironically I would say that it was a lot more even chance wise than it seemed when watching it, their keeper played very well at times. Maybe the mid being sent off evened it up then?
