aww thats a bit bad, all 3 strikers were mine and they didn't even manage a shot between them :o :p still i'm pretty happy to have them all play in the same game for the u21's. i'll watch the game later when i have a bit more time :)

a 3-0 defeat. a 6 man defence isn't a footballing tactic, it's a solution to a maths problem. In a real game Romania would have been overrun by our lot, due to the massive gaps between defence and midfield. But their defenders were always in the right place, our strikers were always offside, and when they weren't their defenders always had just enough pace to get back to our strikers before the shot got away.

The first goal was a joke, the penalty was from a ridiculous back-pass, and we finished with just 9 men.

I ask myself, is it me ? What am I doing wrong ?

Well, the main gaps were in the center of the field, your lateral mids were to wide positioned and the central ones placed one bacikng another, thus a lot of space for our mids to play the ball.

Your defs were too static, while our strikers moved a lot. And of course 2 factors more - players quality and those 2 red cards (I felt it last week against Bulgaria...with those 2 eliminated strikers).

We had over 54n average mark, which is not bad. It isa pitty this one won't be the generation who will represent us at the next WC, just in preliminaries.... but the 19 yo are good as well.

And our defs are great, believe me.

Head up, you will make it welkl again :)
