Subject: How is your junior school looking ?

Not entirely sure when or how this happened, but my junior school is looking quite healthy for the first time in about 7 years. Murfin seems to be talented, and there's a nice little glut of 4 or 5 potentially outstanding 18 year olds arriving in about weeks 4 - 6 next season.

I wonder if improvements in youth players is tied to keeping youths in the team ? As opposed to selling them. Always been a seller until recently. Nah. It's Probably random.

Not too bad really. Had quite a good run on juniors the last couple of seasons.

my junior cupboard is looking a bit threadbare at the moment... no really top prospects :(

Only bright spot is Wheatcroft with sub 3.5 talent, but looking like a nailed on defender (from junior matches) when I train MIDs...

Mine is not great either and loks like being relegated from Junior Series II unless I win this weeks game. A magical should come next week but thats it as far as quality goes.

Challoner will come out brilliant and a bit, Meriken will be close to incredible but 19 and mid-season. That's it.

Zachary Whenham is the only player i've had from my school that is worthwhile in 18 months. He sold for £1m, but all others have been for pennies and i am training none :(

I used to sell nearly every youth, but since I started training them as reserves, I seem to have been getting some better youths. I'm just wondering if trained youths = better youth pulls ?

Would the devs have been this sneaky ? :)

i wouldn't of thought that this would be the case, but thinking about it, the coding sytem wouldn't be practicly more difficult to set up, and the random verifiction n gett youth players would only have to be changed with a range dependant one on own youths playing in matchs or in the squad.

What you say there makes sense - to me anyway :).

well i could understand youths playing say 5% better for their home town team etc

so it makes perfect sense!

why ditch them ? I just tend to play the 11 players nearest to graduation, in the knowledge that the rest will get their turn, unless there are some talented youths, which tend to pop upwards whether they are played or not.

Quinney for sure. Also anyone who will be mid to late 19yo to 21 should be dumped, unless that midseason 19yo is going to be at least magicial.
