Maybe you can get some managers to back Stevie a bit more ? He sounded completely hacked off with the lack of interest in the U-21s from other scottish managers when I spoke to him ?

mainly due to the full season of friendlies. It will be different for him next season

its a sin that scotland has dropped off as bad as we have , i have to take some blame for rankings this season , but some of our squad is a bit of an embarassment to be honest

there are lads like elsoopreemo at east stirlingshire and rab at shanklys along with ironside at ironshore to name but a few who are doing a great job at turning it around , its just that at least 75% of sokker scotland doesnt seem that bothered

fingers crossed something happens and we get an upturn but until then i will plod away learning and trying to help us out - i even sold off a few players and spend 5 or 6 million on young scots this season , hopefully next season will see more foreigners go and be replaced by scots

Getting future ATT, MID, and DEF threads, and asking 3 active users to manage those threads would be a good start. As would using the Nt database at ntdb.sokker.cz. There's a firefox plugin for it, meaning that people can update their players with a click of the mouse if they have firefox, once it is installed.

Appeal to their vanity, give them a clue of what to aim for, and make it easy to update. That's the way to get people involved I reckon.

All great advice mate - ive tried so many times to get people interested but it seems in scotland that we have a hardcore of forum users and interested people and thats it

I currently use the NTDB and firefox , thing is as you probably know its helluva hard getting owners to update their players ! - i even ask them to transfer announce them and i do it for them lol

I set up a forum topic with a basic layout of skills required and a numbered list of skills for ease of use but i dont even think its had a comment lol , i will keep trying tho and hopefully sometime we will see an improvement

We have pretty much the same problem in England - probably 20 regular forum users tops.

In every match announcement, I tend to link to the TV studio for each game, tell people when it kicks off, and link to the NT database so that people can find the link.

Often people won't use it unless it's stuck under their nose pretty much constantly.
