No, although 4 World Cup medals for a relatively small nation isn't too bad a showing for it.

My own take is that there are very few good managers in the English community. At NT level its all about tactics but for most English managers its about selling talent and buying in uber players. That whats seems to drive the leagues in 3 and 4 anyway. Most of us don`t have the skill and we know it.

Tactics are vital here, its not a stats game like hattrick.

The "Election" was not really an election and I think it would have been closer than it looked if NCN had stayed in. Obviously, Gibbage and WDP should have not waded in so soon but English tend to like an under dog. It would have been closer than NCN imagined I think, for example I never even had a chance to vote for NCN.

However, I don`t blame NCN for withdrawing in the face of stiff oppo from people that a lot of managers do look to but perhaps he could have stuck it out and seen what happens, he might have been surprised. Or not? Who now knows?

Not that I am getting at you as you have bought English players in the past!

cuz he never gonna make the nt squad and any money i make of him will be going towards 2 new younger more talented prospects same for riley as well i used the money i got for him to buy my latest youngster

as you know young english players seem to cost a lot more than others im probably gonna waste the best part of 10mill on 3 maybe 4 youngsters if im lucky

Fair enougth I would have thought that they could make the squad though but you are certainly more experienced in such matter than me!
