Subject: [NT] Business

another thread for NT stuff :p this can be used by myself, wdp and future NT managers for letting everyone know about the stuff outside of matches. it will probably be used mostly for telling people the fixtures for the season and scouting stuff. also anyone who wants to help out in anyway, has any questions or wants to know about anything to do with the NT outside of matches can do so here :)
the idea is to keep everyone better informed, and hopefully gain more interest in the national teams, involving as much of the community as possible :)

here's a link to the NT Database so people can update their players :)

also put a message with a link to the NT database in all IV divisions :)
next week after the elections finish and i have access to the database i want to message every human user in England, and get updates on all the english players playing in England.

it's a pretty big job to do alone with nearly 400 users, so it would be a big help if anyone could give me a hand. you could do as much or little as you want, and it won't be hard work. all you'd have to do is copy and paste a message i'd give you, and go through divisions sending the mails to all the human managers. even doing 1 division would help.
then keep a list of who you've mailed and delete them off it when they reply. with the replies you could input the players that are good or have potential into the NT database or send them to me, and after a week or so send me the list of people who haven't replied.

I don`t like moaning about this but its such a manual process.

Using firefox and osokker is not an option for me and so I was wondering if any sokker helper apps can do this?

not that i know of, but i don't have firefox or osokker either... it's boring, but it doesn't take too long. i just did 64 posts in about 20 mins. that would cover 8 leagues if they were all full. plus i don't mind if people just send me the decent updates they get by mail instead of updating them themselves :)

just place your player on transfer topic and then inform the manager who can update him for you

The groups have been drawn for the World Cup and I feel it is a tough group with 2 of the managers very experienced at the NT level coaching Russia and Colombia. Argentina are a fairly big country......will be tough to qualify from this group and I must learn from a couple of mistakes lately.

Could have been worse though. I would say is a fairly average group, Brazil are around the same level as Argentina and they were sent packing so it bodes well. Although this far in the WC any mistakes are punished heavily.

Thanks for teh good words but this is going to be only my 3rd season as NT Coach. So for me it will be a pleasure to play in a such hard and strong group.
