Subject: [NT] Israel Friendly

Hello again, todays friendly pits us against Israel again but with the full side. I am not sure what to expect or even if the new ME changes are in affect today.

The sqad is chosen and tactic set, we are playing a strong side today but are missing a lot of players through injury and also form has been killed on many of the players unfortunately.

We are at home so kick off is at 11.59 our time.

Lost 2-1, they deserved the win but got a fair few breaks that just did not go our way the other end. Have to say I do NOT like the improvements to the ME...they were weird looking.

We were fairly exposed down the wings, I think the new match engine makes the use of a player like Blunsden in defence a little more risky than before.

In general though, we were out-played and would have been with the old match engine too. Anaconda plays a deep defence, then moves it higher to catch strikers offisde, and close down the space. We needed to exploit this and play our strikers & winger higher up the pitch when the ball was in our half.

May be a little tricky to explain my point just in words, so I have dug up this game as an example of how you can play against this type of defensive line:

Playing Wanlace while injured didn't help.

Oh I didn't see that! Sorry......I took out a number of players who were injured or slightly injured. :(

No I am so silent because I have been out and have no time to make new tactics. lol

Lost 3-1. Start preparing your speeches for the Elections as I really have not got the time to make tactics for these games anymore.

I thought you'd play like this, as you said you didn't have time for tactics...
Didn't really like the game, my guys played pretty badly, bad passes, bouncing balls...

I watched the game and thought you were lucky with a lot of last ditch challenges. There were times where the strikers should have shot into a virtual empty goal and didn't and then got challenged. A draw imo would have been a far fairer result, I did not like your formation much today. Well done though. :)

btw, what's the score between us?:P I think I have around 5 wins and maybe 1 draw, at U21?:P

Yes you have incrtedible luck at NT level, your club side sucks though. :p
