ok everyone, we play Hungary on Friday in our first match of the season. it will be one of the hardest games as well, and a win would be a great way to start our campaign for getting to the WC next season. here's a link to the TV studio where we can predict the score, and when it starts watch the match - England vs Hungary

could anyone who hasn't please update their players on the NT Database or send players skills to me :)

i've noticed that we have the England Association but we have never used this. it would be handy as we could talk freely about line-ups and tactics without our opponents seeing. would people want this to be used? or do you want to stick to what is normally done?

tactic is set now :) a few changes may be made as i'm waiting for updates on 5 players who could get into the team... the match is at home so should be a 21:29 sk time kick-off :)

argh narrowly lost 1-0 :/ i thought we were unlucky, it was a very even game, wakeham missed two great chances but that happens.
it's a decent start though as they're the hardest team we'll play, and it's the first game which has left me very busy with updates and stuff all week. as long as we get good results against the other teams then we can still qualify, and get revenge at the end of the season in the return fixture.

A bit harsh result, but what can you do. Hungary has a very strong team once again, but the rest of the games should be winable.

yeah i was happy enough with the set up. lithuania got good marks today so they'll be a challenge, but i think the rest will be pretty straight forward.

Just finished watching and you should feel proud, I felt we were slightly the better side actually and Wakeham certainly should have secured a draw for us at least.

You can win the rest and then beat them in the rematch mate. ;)

is a 3 horse race for 2 places there, lithuania have a good team and got to hope for good results in the other 3 matches againist the other contenders

need to pump up the goal difference in the easy games as it may be the deciding factor in the end
