na he made only a couple of minor changes :) it was a strong performance and next week we have philippines which should be a comfortable win to boost the GD :D

Any reason why Strudwick didn't even make the subs bench despite being the no. 1 U21 MID in the NT database and on Future MIDs?

Not saying he'd have changed the result, but are there really 5 better MIDs...

sure mate, his tech is too low for the wing, and def too low for def mid, so there were only 3 spots he could have played. he is the best on future mids but only because of his high striker.
in terms of the main 5 mid skills colley and cade are equal or a little higher.
witheycombe is a bit worse, mainly because his def is lower, but his order was only to come on if we were drawing or losing. at that point i wanted his higher tech to push for a win, but unfortunately they scored straight away :/
strudwick will still play a lot of games this season, especially against the worse teams when we are dominating, and want his high passing to crack the defences :)

If he has high pm and passing you can try using him as a playmaker, supported by two def mids behind him. It works quite well in u21 :)

up. we play Hungary in the final qualifier today, and a win will see us top the group. the games at 19:29 sk time, and the team and tactics are up in the England association :D
