Subject: Tonights Matches

As nobody started a thread this week I will start one early, who do you have and how is your season shaping up?

I have Phil tonight and my season is going much better than I expected, although tonight I fear I might lose.

I expect nothing other than a loss today!

BTW, you can now make 100 tactics rather than the previous 10.

I left my match after I saw my favourite mid get injured. Again. For 21 days. That's brilliant passing out the window. :(

Looks like I have been royally screwed by the match engine.

Picked up a 0-0 draw with 9 men.

Would have been an easy win with even numbers, but I will take a point given I had no striker for 70+ minutes.

played my trainees as i was playing bots. Lost one trainee to a 13 day injury, and another to a red card :(. Thats their trainings for this week lost.

An easy win? Oh please sometimes you do make yourself sound stupid or just plain big headed. Yes you tactically did better tonight, but I had planned to switch tonight, had I done so you would have found it far tougher....having seen you play the same tactic for weeks I felt you probably would not change but you did. Yes you were unlucky to receive 2 reds, but I guess the defending skill on those players was not good enough?

I also lost Coatsworth to a 2nd injury in 2 wks, this time for 15 days unfortunately. I agree it would have been tougher for me if your striker was there, however given the fact that neoither winger really managed to get through tonight was the main reason for the bore draw.

lost 3-1, fairly happy as was without 4 first team defensive players. Lost 2 goals from corners where defender out jumped but overall very happy with tactics.

I stick by it 100% in this case, my winger was free more than enough times during the match. If I had a striker that would most likely have resulted in a goal or two.

Tactically I pretty much owned you tonight, I would have been screwed if you switched wings, but it was a risk I was willing to take.

The defender skill on the players is of little importance, I just got raped by the match engine on the red cards. On another day you could have had two red cards instead.

Why are your 2, 3, and 4 all on MID orders? :P

Training defender this week, my midfielder trainees were all given defender orders.

If you play one striker then you take that risk, and you did and you lost the striker. Its why I rarely play 1 striker at NT level even. Your winger usually broke through but then got caught, I would say that was down to his poor form.

On the other hand my NT winger in Sdivine form was awful tonight and ran the ball out when in other matches he has been lethal in his crosses.

Tactically had you not lost your striker then you would have definately won the game, but I stand by what I said......you should have either played 2 strikers or had a conditional order knowing that it was a risk. I agree however that on another day I could have got a red card and got destroyed......I remember this happened to me before against you actually and it cost me a lot that day. You were lucky I was unable to take advantage imo. ;)

Lucky you have uberawesome mids then, mine would play like handicapped people under DEF orders.
