tomorrow we play moldova in an u19 friendly. playing it away as it'll be a couple hours earlier kick off.
i'm currently putting the side together, so any updates would be welcome. hopefully we can do better than last time the u19's played against chile which was a 4-1 loss.
will put tactics and team on the england association later :)

team and tactics up in the england association :)

Poor Wrixon - you must hate him, did he put a woopie cushion on your chair or something? :p
2011-05-27 15:49:23
If he's not getting in the team when Raine is injured, there must be something wrong :).
2011-05-27 15:52:45
Hopper is getting some playing time :)

this is what he looks liike. I assume it is tech letting him down. That will be rectified next season

Dwayne Wrixon, age: 19
club: Celtic Wanderers, country: England,
value: 176 100 £, wage: 1 785 £,
adequate form, very good tactical discipline,
height: 177 cm

weak stamina poor keeper
excellent pace excellent defender
good technique excellent playmaker
formidable passing formidable striker
2011-05-27 16:14:21
oh man! if not for tech he would be a beast!
2011-05-27 17:23:57
I imagine form is the big thing letting him down atm.

That's a nice looking player you've got there. Purely for the sake of comparison, this is how my U-19 crock is doing at the moment. He'll be getting passing training once fit.

Terence Raine, age: 19

club: Norwich City Nil, country: England,
value: 263 700 £, wage: 1 785 £,
superdivine form, good tactical discipline,
height: 179 cm
bookings: injury: (11 days):

adequate stamina weak keeper
excellent pace solid defender
outstanding technique excellent playmaker
solid passing formidable striker

gibbage got it spot on ;) purely form which is keeping him out at the moment. Guy Simmons is another player that would have played with better form. we are strongest in midfield with this age group, and i have quite a bit of choice so form is a big factor with the players :p

Completely understand. He will play alot I expect as he is really talented and will pop massively in tech and then passing when 20.
2011-05-27 20:01:42
he probably will in future :p

we lost 6-1 :/ i think our lack of a decent keeper showed there with them scoring 6 from 13 shots. still they dominated the match. i'll do some more scouting before next season, and try to find some more good players for us :)

was wondering why you picked 19yr old def when clearly there are 18 yr old that are better? confused but i dont have full picture you do
2011-05-28 07:24:24
we were offside way too much..

even more than emile heskey on a bad day :)

Ouch.

These games can be difficult to gauge. If you have a couple of gaps in key positions it can make a lot of difference. We really need a goalie.
