Well its been a while since I actually applied for the NT job. Not really any good with speeches so I'll just say a few words and then be on my way :)

I've been playing sokker for a little over 5 years(where has that gone) admittedly not very well in the beginning. I've only been getting right into it the last couple of seasons and enjoy the sunday game more than ever, Now got promoted to div2 aswell and really looking forward to the new challenge.

I don't aim to change anything with scouts or the way the threads are laid out on the forum. I personally think the way the NT has been run is as good as it will get. Wdp and his team has encouraged users to train and keep English players updated, Not always an easy task when they move abroad.

I know I'm not really sounding convincing at the moment, so I will go through a few things that I aim to do.

The biggest thing I would like to do is a move up in the rankings. I don't want to sound offensive to previous managers so really struggling to word this one, but I don't feel 29th justifies the NT squad at all.

I don't know if I would bother with U-23 games etc... Or not. It does effect rankings massively and with the introducing of the U-21 squad I now wonder if it is necessary? I would mainly leave the decision down to the public and see what other nations are up to.

The only other thing I aim to do is to try and get more people evolved and most importantly have a laugh :) maybe this might need the introduction of wacky matches to do so, but possibly might be worth it even if it does effect rankings.

Well I've rambled on long enough, so I will leave you all to come up with your questions all are welcome.

Cheers

Suffolk managers have led England to their greatest ever successes (final and semi final). Norfolk led England to the quarter finals. Do you think you can continue this trend?

No

The aim will be to win every game*

*Cough Cough

Where do you think England should be in the rankings?

Can you give an example of a league or cup match where you were able to out-perform the other team using tactics, despite being the weaker team ?

That's my favourite NT question, that one.

I think we should be looking at top 15, but we also need to be realistic.

No I can't tbh with you.

I just use a tactic that plays to my own players strengths and tweak it here and there. If I had the luxury to choose between a fast array of top quality players then I may be more adventurous.

Is there any recent NT matches you would do differently?

It is the last qualifier game and you are tied in 2nd place with another team on equal goal difference, both facing different opponents and both in games against "emerging" nations who you can lose to if you mess things up tactically. Do you go all out attack (potentially against a brick wall defence tactic) or just go for a win in a more standard tactic and hope the other side doesn't do quite so well?

Its always easy to pick holes in previous games and pick out mistakes, but let's be honest no one can really be 100% sure what the opponent will come out with.

Right so its deadlock on GD aswell so you really have to go for it. You have to score more than the other qualifier team, but also have to try and not concede. I would go for it with an 4-2-4 formation, playing a high defensive line with defenders with the highest amount of pace, tech and passing I have available to me. Might sacrifice a bit on defending ban they are a "emerging" NT team. Next would be 2 holding midfielders again the best Pace, defending, tech, passing and playmaking I have available to me. They will back up the defense and play cutting passes to the 2 strikers and 2 high, but not wide wingers.

This will keep the pressure on and even if they are playing ultra defensive they will eventually break.
