Subject: The League 3 trap

Speaking for myself, I have an Unearthly Youth coach at £34k a week and currently 28 places.

It isn't cheap, but I am convinced the investment more than pays off, certainly when combined with a good main coach/assistant set up and a solid training plan.

Others will doubtless disagree and I am sure they lose less money than me on a weekly basis, but the question perhaps is, do they make more in the longer term?

My guy is brill and costs just shy of 23k a week.

My Transfer stats are 3 353 999 £ - mainly two guys but don`t forget thats also with main team training, not just selling fresh pulls.

My junior school costs me on average £400,000 a year.

Also I reckon a training slot is worth about 20k a week. So I could go back and see how many main team trainings those guys had in a 20k slot.

You might be overpaying a bit on your brilliant. My magicals range from £21420 to £22170.

But then I may have spent millions on the coach recruitment button to save those few pennies, so feel free to disregard the above.

Yes I have stayed away from that button, he was my ex-main coach and has been kept because he has unearthly striking which my main coach lacks...

Train one - I bought a guy for 20k, trained his pace (training all off my team) and made a 10x profit on him in a season ;)

I don't have much to add to this conversation, having started a bit earlier and got out of III pretty quickly. But I'd just like to say how interesting I've found it. Good to see new contributors on here too.

i have gained ·Sum: 3 279 329 £ from selling juniors in about 8 seasons, so my juniors earn me just under half a million a year, yo yep, well worth having the school in my opinion.

..and you must take into account the players in your team who have come from your Junior School.

Now upgraded to magical yc from incredible and 2x incredible assistants and 1x Brilliant. Should still comfortably afford them though.

I certainly can't afford my coaches (2x Unearthly, 3x Magical) in terms of weekly income, but I'd like to think they pay for themselves in terms of player development.

I was also after the Unearthly coach not to be though.

I actually want one for my main coach though.
