Pfft to you. I don't throw friendlies, yet still have a pap ranking.

I think I was ranked in the 20s at the start of the season. Think I might be the exception to the rule though. It would be interesting to see the "hidden" ranking which greg once effectively said exists which is used to determine how important a game is for fan mood.

Well your reserves have always been pretty poor for your level, so no need to throw games!

The ranking is probably not biased towards the league enough, but in most cases it is fine. Those with a top first XI usually have a strong reserve side too, so often it doesn't get highlighted.

Friendlies should certainly have a lot less weight than they do at the moment. Perhaps even as much as 1/8 of the effect they have at the moment, or similar to the effect they have on fan mood.

It does throw up a lot of oddities as it is. There are a few sides like mine, cartman, RTT for example all with a lower ranking than you would expect.

agree with you here, friendlies and junior legue should weight less in terms of fans mood

When I won the FA Cup 3 seasons ago, I was playing at home from the third week onwards.

Bit of a freak situation though, had previously been throwing games.

Is it not because you have been losing the odd game?

I don't read much into rankings I win it goes up I lose it goes down. Makes sense to me.

My high ranking is really starting to affect my fan mood. They are all expecting thumping wins against recent Prem opposition or instance!

So, who do you all have next in the cup? I have the current England U21 manager.

If I can contain Lucy I have a chance. I play first team DEF's in the cup, but only have 4 available.

Herbs for me. I'm not going to go out of my way to win it so will see how it goes.
