Seeding in cup games and bragging rights, Number of Supporters affects fan mood calculations and sponsor money.

It's probably about the most nonsense bit of the game.

After all, I am ranked 16th in England, below teams that promoted out of III for the first time this season for instance!

My low ranking got me a Premiership team in the 3rd round of the cup. So if you want out of the cup early, get a low ranking.
