Subject: 7/8 Matches
Mine are now madly in love for the first time this season if it makes you feel any better :)
13-1 mauling to go with an incredible Shooting rating and 100% record.
Incidentally according to the England records, that's only the second time that's been achieved in this country.
Sweet.

I didn't watch the match (phone wont run it) but, didn't expect to thrash you that bad D:
Now, without Eevers for my next match. Yay :(

I forgot to set my first team for the match against Cartman and lost 11-0.
This is not the fault of the match engine.

Lol, thought that result looked dodgy. He's hardly been too active himself.
I see that several people have actually made an incredible shooting rating...
...anybody up for maintaining the England Records thread?

I want to understand what the heck is the problem with height on players, i mean 175cm and 180cm tall defenders getting smashed up by a 177cm striker seems a bit wierd.
I mean the player may have a 'jump like tim cahill' hidden skill but how do you actually stop conceding loads of goals from headers?
Do defenders need to be like 185cm or taller to stop them, is height even an actual factor? How does it really work?
Answers on a postcard to my team aka 'fly like a elephant sting like a snail'... :)

Not the best statistical arguement out there is it?!
I am a "heading" team so long may it continue, if there is a height problem!

I had a 192cm divine defender that consistantly got outjumped by midgets, I sold and replaced him with a 204cm defender that seems to suffer from the same problem. At the other end I have a 192cm striker that often gets beaten with straight balls up the field to him but does win crosses. That tells me that the probem is more with crosses but we all knew that really anyway.
Frustration got the better of me with my post last night but I can't help shaking my head at this game when it's been going for a fair amount of time now and still has some really stupid basic problems that could make the game far far better if they were sorted out. Picking on an example of that, it often doesn't seem to matter how good the secondaries are of defenders they will still go out of their way to kick into touch. Even with vgood pm and pass it happens while I don't see mids and attackers doing it when they have worse skills.
As for some of the other quirky things it often seems as though we have 14 levels of tragic and 3 of ok when it comes to skills which is stupid, even a tragic passer should get some passes right especially the 5 yard ones when not under pressure.

Height is generally irrelevant unless players are in the exact same position - which isn't all that often.
The passing ability of the winger is the main attribute to how successful the attacker is I believe.
I've reached incredible before can't recall when though.
It was on the 29-05-2011 last season. Got incredible shooting, formidable passing and outstanding defending.
Nice stats. Stick it in the records thread :)
Aside from kicking Eevers, I have now figured out where I went wrong... Expect better results and maybe even a chance of survival
