Best training I have seen in my time as a manager :)

ken what are you doing? your pace trainees have such low pace you will need to train for 3 seasons pure pace to get them to decent levels. since your coach ahs no other unearthly skills you are unlikely to get much in the way of randoms. unless all these trainees already have high skills and only lack pace, you have a completely pointless and valueless training program.

Not the best randoms either lol next week should be better.

steelers randoms were pretty good mate. there were plenty of them and at higher levels than your main training

Why do you think my training plan is pointless?! You have no idea on my players skills let alone my plans with them. Not just that what is wrong with my pace training. All I am doing is posting my players training report!

It may seem harsh, but Dylanos is trying to help you.

You've just quoted 9 pace pops, but 7 were weak or worse - unless these guys have uber talent then even in a season they'll have moderate pace skills at best.

On top of this they'll have very little in the way of randon pops because your coach (as previously posted by you) has only 1 skill even near Unearthly level and that's Pace.

@ Dylanos....Maybe it could have been put more constructively though? ;)

One of Kens players is my old youth and he had 4 talent maximum......if that helps, not sure what others he has though.

I know Ken has made some silly mistakes in the past but as an Old Git now I always try to talk to people how I would like to be spoken to. ;)
2008-05-08 11:23:39
old git? you're 2 years younger than me. i go more on the basis of cut to the chase; i spent years mired in corporate bullshit and just can't be bothered with it. plus this has been told to ken so often and in so many ways, maybe a blunt approach will finally sink in. not that i actually care very much.

I am old compared to a lot of others on here! lol

It hit me this season when I turned up and started playing with people half my age.......I USED to be one of the young ones in my Football Team! :/

Oh well anyway I hope Ken has learnt from the past as he has a good talent in one of my ex youths, and I am sure he will. As they say Youth is wasted on the young. ;)

Another point is that a lot of us forget how tough it is starting out in IV again, he has to start somewhere and he is just following the guidance that we all give, which is Stamina followed by Pace. :)

Shut up, you are a whipper snapper! ;)
2008-05-08 12:37:02
Thank you I like that phrase. lol

Just not heard it said to me lately.
