Subject: Weekly Training

Don't feel too bad....I had a stamina plop today!!........that was it.

It doesn't help that all my trainees keep getting injured either.

Still trying 2 figure it out... Nothing changed at all, not even form pops or plops, which is the first time ever! I'm thinking it may be a bug with Apollo

Really need to do some passing training myself...

How are you finding the rate of player pops compared to pace? do you notice players pop more quickly (all else being equal)?
2009-02-20 13:20:24
definitely faster

some say pace is 50% slower

I think a bit more like 25% or a bit more

Certainly a 4 week passing popper becomes 5 week pace
2009-02-20 13:23:13
Cool - I'll have to try and slot some passing in to the schedule...
2009-02-20 13:28:31
I think it's somewhere between those 2 percentages. One player of mine took 5 weeks to formidable pace at 21y's, and took the same amount of time to pop to incredible passing at 22y's.

I base my estimate on Dudley Inns

At the age of 19 he popped in defence to outstanding and Incredible in 4 weeks each

Whereas at 21 and 22 he has popped in 5 weeks in pace at the same levels

In both cases he was trained continuously from below outstanding to incredible

This gives 25% slower although implies it was less as it was older. There's plenty of scope for it being a bit more or less

Edit: I meant trained from below formidable to incredible

I reckon its more like 40% slower.

Strikering again this week for me.....

Form not hit so badly for a change, although not a great showing there.

23 yr old to Outstanding striker
21 yr old to Excellent striker
18 yr old to Solid striker
19 yr old to Solid striker

2 nice stamina pops and a poopy plop.

Pace
25yo - v good
22yo - outstanding

Random
27yo - ade def
22yo - solid passing
22yo - good passing
2009-02-26 09:33:51
Pace:

21 y/old def to brilliant pace
18 y/old def to weak pace & random to unsat stamina
23 y/old def to magical pace

Randoms:

20 y/old keeper to adequate striker
19 y/old def to weak pm
21 y/old mid to formidable passing

Was hoping to get a few more pace pops, but the randoms were ok so cant grumble too much.
2009-02-26 10:22:09
marmaduke hone to solid pace
2009-02-26 13:11:49
Passing:

21y excellent
22y good
19y average
21y poor & solid technique
17y hopeless & adequate striker
24y adequate striker
27y adequate playmaker
18y weak defender

Some fairly pointless randoms in there.
