do these 19/20 yr olds go str8 into your first team or are they still reserves as such? also a question to what age do you keep players cuz surely now its worthwhile keeping somone who is fully trained because of the new updates
2006-12-15 14:24:13
i think upto the gae of 23/24 players will still get trained by the higher teams due to the amount of money 1 level of skill that high up can make to the price of a player.

my 2 better mids are 23 and i plan on training them this year and next, then i think there not much point
2006-12-15 15:17:31
my first team has 21 year olds being trained in it.

my 19/20/21 yr old trainees get trained in the reserves generally.
2006-12-15 15:18:36
My team is made up of 19 and 22 year olds. I guess this means the 22 year olds are past it, and I really should be selling them to buy 19 year olds that are more talented, or summing.
2006-12-15 15:19:35
you can still get pretty good training 22 to 24 yrs old - especially if you need em for the first team...
2006-12-15 15:20:32
My oldest is 25, but it's getting a bit slow now. Unfortunately, I have no replacement yet so he'll have to stay for a while.
2006-12-15 15:21:05
I suspect that my next purchase will be a 25 year old striker, anything cheaper of the standard required to make a dent in this series will be bought by poles for ridiculous money.

Devlin & Big Mac?
2006-12-15 15:22:17
Just Devlin. I meant my oldest guy getting training.
2006-12-15 15:22:48
ah.

Anyhow,

I have to go get ready as we are off to Newcastle this weekend.....

:)

To watch the exciting game against Watford?
2006-12-15 15:25:27
another question...

do you lot train only 1 specific position ie: defenders then train the relevant attributes for defenders or do you train a cross reference of players for short periods
2006-12-15 15:27:32
I have always trained strikers, and rotate my training to suit those players - i.e. do some scoring, pace, technique and stamina.

But either method is viable.
