Subject: why vote for an already failed england manager for a second term
man up eh! now thats a saying i aint heard for a while. although i can see your reasons for thinking i should apologise. Look what ive done i got a thread going where people are posting why they voted for the england manager and what they think is wrong with the england NT ie people not training not having junior schools, i think ive done a good job in bringing this out into the forums.. As for jumping on peoples backs i dont think ive ever slated an england manager ( apart from the real NT that is)
I never said you slated and England manager on here, i just stated that some users do. And yeah, you have got people talking bout it and thats a good thing. Just a shame you started it with the post that you did imho.
yeah i know but sometimes things like this have to be done and unfortunately for me i dont know when to keep my mouth shut sometimes hmmm maybe all the time
i see my appojntment has gone down well ;)
on the serious side, i honestly only stepped up and put myself forward to avoid the NT side to end up in the hands of a poor manager, i may not be the best candidate but have not done badly in my time here either as a club manager (winning the premiership unbeaten with arguably what was the 5th best team is not too shabby) and as NT manager last time around (only got kicked out on the knockout staged in a match we could have won and played large part of with 10 men)
unfortunally our team is very very poor, i have 2 strikers that would be first teamers in england and do not even get a look in with chile or germany, the lack of training and interest over the past few season has weakened the NT and we are now ranked 30th
other than the above i would just like to point out that the user starting this tread has just given away the reason he chose that username...

If you're reason to post something that absurd was to get a reaction from the public then I salaute you for that; it worked. Worked in showing you that still the only people that will post are established forum users that either voted for ermejo or gave a constructive reason as to why not.

wow, this is a pretty r3tarded thread.
I voted for him because he won the premiership. people who have no clue tactically dont win the top league in the country. He was the best English candidate for the job, how anyone can argue against that is beyond me.

time will tell, i didnt vote for him but wish all the best nontheless, lets hope this time you have more success!
Now its too late to moan...lets try and help him do a better work this time...last time he lost interest due to lack of help and interest from the other english managers...lets give him a hand and help him prove his vote ;)
+1.
Not that I have any players remotely of interest to the NT.

"on the serious side, i honestly only stepped up and put myself forward to avoid the NT side to end up in the hands of a poor manager"
I have been hearing quotes like this not just from emerjo but from other users as well, I think its awful, I don't think its anyone's that so called "good managers" did not run and personally whoever ran must have worked up the courage to say yeah I am going to challenge for it and that whole courage can be kicked out of them by just one quote. I don't consider myself as a poor manager personally but its always nice to know what people think of you. Evey time I have ran for NT I am never even considered as a serious candidate no matter what I do. In that case if you are going brand managers trying out as poor managers then how do you expect a community to be formed and more people to come out and be more active in the forums etc. I personally don't feel there is actually a community in the forums. Ermejo has done extremely well and clearly deserved to win its not by luck for him to achieve what he did last season.

just to ask: why no manager from another country?
As Maqoma really was a good alternative...

Dont ask me ask the community. Maqoma was actually an outstanding candidate kinda surprise he wasnt in front of me plus his speech was very structured and well written.
i think the english community would rather have an english manager in charge.
I think you may be taking ermejo's comments a bit out of context. He did actually stand for elections a fair bit before you put forward your canditure. Had you been there from the start, I do actually think you could have won the election.
I think half the issue is the other than old school users such as myself, not everyone may have known pre election who he was, because of that they just see a Belgian flag and look elsewhere.
I think the only foreign user who I am 99% sure would have got elected would have been julius, but that was a long time ago. He then went and got the NT job for Netherlands.
