Subject: why vote for an already failed england manager for a second term
I think half the issue is the other than old school users such as myself, not everyone may have known pre election who he was, because of that they just see a Belgian flag and look elsewhere.
I think the only foreign user who I am 99% sure would have got elected would have been julius, but that was a long time ago. He then went and got the NT job for Netherlands.

"Given the lack of any real opposition I'm actually surprised he didn't win by a landslide." I doubt I have taken anything out of context just summarising what everybody was thinking. And yeah you are right maybe I would have won, but even phil said it himself people were always going to vote for him because everyone else wasnt even considered as good enough.
That's a quote from phil. Personally, I'd ignore him, he's weak.
lool point still stands though maybe this is why there isnt so much activity because of this stigma around, plus to r3tarded failure is only the beginning I think he deserved to win, he failed and then went back to drawing and look at his achievements afterwards personally I am actually excited to see how he gets on this time around.
I really dont see the point of this post...maybe just to kill the new NT managers confidence already...let me give you some facts:
1. Only 34 ppl voted. Why? I never knew elections ware running and I have been looking at the forums just not at Sokker En that offten.
2. If would have known about it I could have gathered more then 14 votes myself just by sending 15 pm to my friends and let them know I am running.
3. England has 648 users and only 34 votes...we need to do better as a comunity and clearly ppl had no ideea they had to vote. Mybe if we would get them more involved they would know.
Example - Romania - candidate gathers a team around him like asisten managers and scouts to help him run that team...so he comes with staff...lets say out of 5 candidates - they each had 4 ppl helping them => votes 34 + 20...we have 54 ppl involved ...better than 34, those 4 ppl know another 1 person each and so on...
Lack of advertising for your campaign lost you the elections...next time I am running ...not because I am a good manager but because I know how to run such a campaign. And will get some good staff arund me to compensate for my lack of skills ;))

Its like you havent read any of my post, its the complete opposite of what you said but on the other hand you have got a point.
sorry kenny I wasnt replying to your post...but to the initial one...just clicked reply on your one :)
I have to say I do agree with a lot of what Ken has said.
Ermejo's comments were a little harsh to other candidates regardless of the truth in it.
It's hardly going to bring along more people to post and support him is it?
I think you will see the least amount of interest ever in the NT this time around.

Ermejo joined the elections before ken and NCFC. Phil was the one who made the comment that caused most of the disruption.
It's got nothing to do with timing of the elections. There was only ever going to be one winner even if Ken stood at the start.
Ermejo was the only standout English candidate. I just think comments he has made will hardly set the community alight with his fresh campaign.
Phil's apparent comment has only just been raised. Surely you mean retarded?

First page, quote from Phil:

Given the lack of any real opposition I'm actually surprised he didn't win by a landslide.
Can you give a strong case for any one of the managers being able to do a better job?
1. ermejo 14 (38,9 %)
2. NCFC 6 (16,7 %)
kenny2009 6 (16,7 %)
4. Maqoma 4 (11,1 %)
251178DANIEL 4 (11,1 %)
6. kwast 2 (5,6 %)
7. mahmutkurt 0 (0,0 %)
and ermejos post later on in the thread:
on the serious side, i honestly only stepped up and put myself forward to avoid the NT side to end up in the hands of a poor manager, i may not be the best candidate but have not done badly in my time here either as a club manager (winning the premiership unbeaten with arguably what was the 5th best team is not too shabby) and as NT manager last time around (only got kicked out on the knockout staged in a match we could have won and played large part of with 10 men)
I personally think ermejo meant early on, not to be inflammatory - but I definitely considered Maqoma - but thought it was a wasted vote. Look at what happened in the U21 options to see why I voted for ermejo as a just in case method.

Hi Retarted,
I totally agree with you and in regards to newish users this is type of nonsense we have to put up with in sokker scotland

im shocked you didnt get more votes as realisticaly you were the ONLY real candidate
How do these ppl want to unite when its a case of jobs for the boys, it wouldnt be so bad if the ppl who have been in the game since time began were tactical geniuses but George Burley & Berti Vogts spring to mind!
Oh and this will rattle them coz they only seem to like there own view, and the worrying thing is they give them titles likes tutors, mods etc, never heard of any tutoring going down!

The tutor introduction was a farce, there should be a button so newbies can press it and it takes them straight to the page where they can ask a tutor, twas unbelievable. In all fairness though, Sharoni dwarfed every candidate there.
He did that i totally agree but on the U21's i beg to differ.
Sharoni has done what has been lacked in the past by managers gone by, a distinct lack of communication, this guy seems to be hands on and that can only be good going forward.

To be honest, first you need to establish yourself in the first division of Scotland before trying to stand for an NT job. Especially with the U21s with a limited country - I have experience in that: it's a very tough challenge and people would rather have a safe bet.
if that is the case, there should be a stipulation of criteria you have to meet, rather than be ridiculed in an open vote. I understand longevity holds some clout for running, but this game aint rocket science, and i have checked historically whats been achieved and i believe a relative newcomer wouldnt struggle to achieve these so called higher echelons of a long term user.
