Subject: why vote for an already failed england manager for a second term

2011-10-27 08:18:35
You will be waiting a LOOOOOOOONG time if you expect the NT manager to randomly start mailing you and ask for your help.
2011-10-27 08:37:47
I seem to remember people SK mailing me when I was NT manager asking if I wanted any help.

Agreed, I don't see a problem with that.

Was suggesting that Ken mailing Ermejo will be more productive.

Best & most intelligent post on this thread

Smell the coffee you guys – NT England Sokker continues to go down the pan (it is become a joke)

Yet the old NT Managers & top dog Managers want to apportion blame elsewhere - that's so sad & very naive IMO

The NT Manager has been elected - so good luck to him

But the serious causes (not the symptoms) for the terminal decline of enthusiasm to support the basic roots of Sokker UK, have just been brushed aside once again

Big mistake yet again I suggest

Please note

The election is over - & I support the re-elected ex NT Manager

Good luck to the England NT

There's reasons and excuses.

For example: I could say Cymru U21 loses due to the lack of keeper skill and squad depth. This is a reason.
England loses due to the fact other teams are much better. This is also a reason.

Best post in this thread was written by Sharoni123 actually.

Look its not about who is "in charge" its about the community. Any manager is not going to get the results in this game without the potential to get results supplied by the community.

All this slagging off of people is pointless. We need a youth training program for under 21 - then we need a post 21 training program and then we need a NT training program.

Once thats in position then we can slag off NT managers if they don`t win and we have given them a squad with skill and depth.

We need to sort out a training program and use this passion to train our players properly and hang on to them rather than sell them all and insult each other.
I think no one can win a world cup with what we have.

Watch as NCFC will now disappear into the woodwork, to reappear at next election, saying the same stuff. As he does every season.
2011-10-27 14:09:35
Maybe, maybe not.

The discussion was a good one but does anyone have any drive to do what needs to be done? And if there is someone would the community listen and agree a way forward?

I think the first part, most often is there, but it saps when the 2nd part doesn't appear.

As a look back to the past, the World Cup thread from the first World cup is a 21 page thread (not just with me posting in it either). It had 7 matches (3 group, last 16, quarters, semi and then an unofficial 3rd place playoff) in it so 3 pages of posts per game, something which doesn't seem to happen now. Also, if you take out take out ncfc's controversial stance, there were very few questions posed to any candidate this election. In some cases, a lack of response from candidates to questions asked too!
2011-10-27 14:19:30
Agreed.

The questions bit is a bit weak because most of us don`t have a question because we have nothing to hook on to. If there was a thread about say 1, 2 or no wingers at NT level then I would ask that question. There is none so I have no question. My answer sounds a bit lame there but its how my mind works.

If a cannidate fails to answer a question well thats a judgement call on those making a judgement.

We need some sort of community to support the training of players for the NT first, tactics and managers are second to this.

Here is the topic I was referring to

I've closed it as I imagine someone will bump it otherwise!
2011-10-27 14:24:34
Yes thats a proper debate and discussion.

It was quite instructive too.

I guess most people are frightened of asking questions for fear of looking "stupid" nowadays.
2011-10-27 14:26:01
I wonder if I should do a poll to see just how many people out there seriously support the NT or would be willing to.
2011-10-27 14:27:57
I miss Sgod :(

He helped me when I started playing originally (back in 2006)
2011-10-27 14:33:46
same here, there are at least 10/15 of us who post frequently and support the NT 100% i would say
