Subject: why vote for an already failed england manager for a second term
same here, there are at least 10/15 of us who post frequently and support the NT 100% i would say
btw if anybody is interested ermejo has emailed me lol i see what everyone is saying about NT managers emailing asking for help because I never did it but what I am saying is that maybe not many are stepping up because they dont feel good enough certainly from my experience I use to see NT's have Mid scout - [username] on their press release so I always thought that that person was more qualified so I just never bothered.
Looks like you have the power to make some changes here..
:-)
I think the pull is a good start and will give you a clue where you stand at the moment..
I also think that all of you should know that it will take you time to achive a top team again, the potential exists for sure and in time i'm sure you can have an NT that averages ~80 mark but it's a procceses.
A community with ~500 users, even if only 80 of them are active it's enough, come on, in Latvija we had about 12 active users, every user trained at least 1 player for the NT, most trained (and still training, including myself) more than 1, the main problem was that most of the managers are mid trainers, so midfield became strong, but strikers are weaker and defence is so so, still, compared to the number of potentials there are it's about the max for this moment being ranked 39th, but it only gets better in time as there are many great young potentials that local managers train now for the long term, including 3 18yr strikers that will be 3Xsuperdivine, anyway the point is that a small nation like Latvija if things continue this way will leave you guys dust in the future (hopefully we will be able to do the same in Scotland..)
;-)
It's all thanks to the community working together for this goal.
Managers that train U21 players are easier to find, the main problem comes when you need to train players until they 28-30 and not many are doing it (honestly i can't understand why, it's the only way you can have a strong team, speaking about the personal team, and on the same way you help the NT..) so your plan should be on how to continue and train the young potentials to older ages.
Looking at your NT, you average ~75 in a 5-4-1 formation, didn't see a 5-3-2 lineup but i guess the mark is around the same, i take this formations as an exmaple because they are the classic ones on sokker.
You wont win the WC with this team and not sure you can pass the group stage, and it dosn't matter who's in charge, so whatever the results are you shouldn't blame your NT manager if he wont win the WC or won't make it to the next stage because i'm sure he will do the best he can with this team..
The only thing your NT manager (and future one) should realize is that he needs to think about the future all the time.. give some young prospects a place in the squad, give them some minutes where you can, it will encourage their managers to train them for the long term (and will make them better in time as it will give them some extra training..)

Absolutely perfect post, and who does it come from? A bloody johnny foreigner! ;)
Great post, made points well which is far more than others have tried to do.
Makes me laugh how someone can be so critical of the England NT setup when they contribute NIL Juniors to the NT as they have NO SCHOOL....smell the coffee NCFC - you are one of the problems yourself so don't throw stones if you live in a glass house.

Another great post, Sir 2 out of 2. We have a lot to relearn.
great stuff Sharoni123, could do with a few like you around here
in regards of thinking about the future that is my view, i have played weaker but younger players especially the ones i was aware they were being trained for the NT in my last stint as NT and will do exactly the same after the WC

this is a training question how are we suppose to train players over the age of 23 does it have any effect because I dont mind having a mixture of young and old 11 young 11 old.
they train slower off course and may not be financially very wise but it is the only way to create high skills NT players
Well thanks everyone, yeah, it comes from a foreigner + manager of Scotland..
;-)
I just made the things very simple - as they are..
:-)
@kenny
Of course older players train slower + takes more time to pop in higher levels, but the only way you can make players like this one:
Dvir Eitan, age: 29
club: Bearslayers, country: Israel,
value: 20 534 990 ₪, wage: 259 800 ₪,
brilliant form, magical tactical discipline,
height: 170 cm
bookings:
formidable stamina poor keeper
divine pace very good defender
superdivine technique divine playmaker
superdivine passing very good striker
Is if you train them long term and to older ages, i train him since he was 17yr and i trained him regulary until age 28yr (he was 3 superdivine on left side, just dropped), now obviously not all players you train can reach this levels, but investing in junior schools will give you higher chances to get good pulls and from there the long term training will do the rest..

I think they can be good financialy, because they make the team stronger = the team wins more matches = fans mood is high = more attendence on matches = more money...

well yes, the competitivity of the team improve and with it the success on the pitch but from a training / profit point of view it may not be viable, for example i have been training this guy for a few season and when i will be selling him (if ever) i would have not made much money if any compared to train youngstersm sell and start again
btw, pumping his tech at the moment
Shawn Brocksopp, age: 27
club: Maggica ROMA
country: England,
value: 1 506 450 £, wage: 16 695 £,
superdivine [17] form, divine [17] tactical discipline,
height: 191 cm
formidable [11] stamina hopeless [1] keeper
superdivine [17] pace excellent [10] defender
magical [15] technique magical [15] playmaker
divine [17] passing adequate [6] strike

Yeah, that's right, i guess the best and "healthy" way will be to train some players for the long term and some younger players (not local ones) to make profits and keep the cashflow..
