Just wondering if anyone can offer me some advice (should be on newbie section probably) as to why I got thrashed 16-0 in cup by top prem side 'Old Evertonians'? Yes, I was expecting to lose but just not by so many goals.

I'm doing something drastically wrong but not sure what, hence the drubbing.

If anyone can give me some much needed advice it would be appreciated.

your keeper got injured 4 mins into the game?

Cheers!!!

Yep, a bit annoying but would that explain such an @rse kicking!

I'm sure I'm doing something drastically wrong with my team...

i cant watch the match but looks like he exploited the winger tactic and you didnt cover the winger so he had a free reign to do what he wanted

Fair point, cheers.

I just got lucky mate, the GK replacement was not good and my mids are pretty decent and just made chances and was lucky enough to put a decent % away.

I would not be too disheartened, my jammy bunch are top of the prem and the current cup holders, all more by luck than skill but were not a bad team.

Tks mate, it's a little disheartening to get so thrashed but I'll get over it. I just thought that maybe my tactics were crap!

I knew I'd get beaten but just surprised by the amount of goals i conceded!

Good luck for the rest of the season. I'll keep plodding along & try another decent cup run next season.
