Ive tried to run a div III budget on div IV income and it hasnt gone well. Got 7 youth players up for sale to try and see me through til the end of the season. Ill have a tough playoff and thats if I win the league as another decent side in my division. Need promotion desperately.
Just sell Pern, its all about planning long-term rather than trying to buy success with older fully trainied players who will only fall in value.
Or Rand, that'll free up cash. It's OK to have the odd older player if you're not training that position.
Agreed, but 1 million is a lot on a non-trainee in division IV.
I train defenders and have some good youngsters (for the lower divisions) so buying Pern i thought would fire me straight back up but i got stuck in a division with another good side. Pern will have to go next week i think. Im waiting til Rand is a 2x Unearthly defender before i sell him
