I am fully aware I am not the most talented tactical Manager in England – but IMO it’s not a highly skilled tactical Manager that is needed to get England back on track
I can offer 3 strengths to the England NT role
1 – Enthusiasm. I will be very active & fully committed to the term of the tenure. I will take advice & make sensible decisions, to support the overall structure of the England set-up.
2 – Communication. Talking to all levels of Club Managers is very much needed to get more people enthused & feeling part of the NT set-up.
The past Managers have been great tacticians, but over recent seasons have left no forward momentum in improving England as a top class Nation.
I intend to communicate directly with Div III & IV Managers to ensure they are fully aware of the opportunity that exists to support their Club & in tandem the NT
3 – Foundation Building. I want to leave a legacy within England that Youth Academies can be developed & encouraged. England’s success in the future relies on a steady flow of quality players being trained from our very own English Academies.
New & comprehensive data, along with direct communication will be provided to support any Manager looking to start up, or develop their existing Academy.
…………………………………………………………………………..
I will also look to play players from all levels within Sokker England, & support the development of our young/new talents (both Managers & players) as much as possible.
I believe it is time for a change from just electing the best tactical Manager - & give a chance to someone that can support the total England set-up from the grass roots through to the end product ‘match day’.

Definitely a better speech than your one this time last season.
On point 3 - this is typically a role which the U21 manager has the most input into as they would look to shape up the NT and then the NT manager gets what is left once they reach 22. How will you co-operate with them in building on this, or will you be more looking to put in your own methods? Also do you feel that it is wise for III / IV sides to effectively "overtrain" players past the point of profitability, when the funds from selling a player at peak value could be the difference between them being a III / IV side to a II or even prem side?
On point 1, will you maintain a forum prescence after the election period?
Last question, how is your junior school?

Point 3 - I believe the responsibility to encourage the start up & on-going progression of English Youth Academies is a task that all England Sokker Managers can take on.
Certainly the 2 elected NT Managers should take an active role in supporting & helping Clubs understand the finances/benefits/risks of an Academy - but everyone needs to start talking Academies to get some enthusiasm going
I would look to work with Tom - also bringing in new ideas & some energy into this vital area for the future success of both the U21 & NT
Lastly - more info/data & communication would enable Club Managers to decide what's best for their Club v the NT on training/profits
Point 1 - yes, & I will try & get some new topics going to make it more interesting to a wider audience
My junior school is coming along ok - just need a lot more info to enable me to make the right choices, & get the max out of my financial investment & time going into it

Last season in the U21 elections there was a "surprise" candidate who was not far off getting more votes than tom, despite never having made a post or anything during the election process. In order to win the election, you may have to get all floating voters to vote for you. How do you plan to do this?

Your conduct on the forums particularly within the last elections was not becoming for a future NT manager, are you planning to change how you discuss these things during this election or afterwards as well?
Apparently all other managers have been total failures, what is your stance on this?

I'd be interested in you expanding on these points...
Does this mean that you'll just be looking to play more age restricted matches than previous managers have? And/or you'll be looking to play players from III/IV regardless of if they are the best player(s) for their position?
I'm interested in some of your ideas for the support from the grass roots ideas, as much as the idea of every side in III/IV having a prosperous youth set up is wanted I don't know how feasible it is.
I'll post up some general questions for both you and Imann at some point over the weekend.

im in the 3rd div and have 3 potential under 21 players i still make a profit just
You're at the top end of III and have been in II previously, have a decent ranking an excellent stadium and probably get more than most III sides income wise, I'm more talking about those in III who are around the bottom 4 every season whose income could take a hit if they got relegated.
I can offer a different approach to the NT - as it's not all about match day & results
There does appear to be a ground swell of opinion that a change is perhaps now needed
I wish there were many more candidates from Div III having a go at the NT jobs

It's difficult to say for sure - until I can see the strengths of the younger players & the support they are getting with training
I would suggest atm that it will be a bit of both - with more age restricted matches & bringing in key players for the future
As for the grass roots development - I have no idea what response there would be. But I have the time, skills & commitment to do a comprehensive job & give it a real good go
I cannot see England progressing back to a high level - until we get the enthusiasm back, & ensure every Manager can access 100% support & advice to produce the best quality players from their Junior Schools

to be honest this sounds great, i now have 2 20 year olds that i feel will only just not be good enough for our nder 21 side. However though this would benifit people like me, how would you argue about not playing our strongest players, after all, whats why most of the manager have been training them.
i agree with you that it's not all about results, but if you didn't get through the qualifiers you would probably struggle to keep the job another season. so, what tactics do you like to use, or would look to use with England? do you have any examples of a tactic you've used that you think worked well against opponents for you? and what do you put your relegation last season down to?
I would base my tactics on the ones used already by the NT. There are several great tactical Managers out there that may be willing to give sound advice if/or when needed
You maybe right that I don't get re-elected if the results are poor. But without getting the foundations of the England set-up right - we are not going to achieve anything spectacular in the near or distant future.
I look at the England results, the lack of enthusiasm from Club Managers, & most importantly the lack of quality young players coming onto the England scene - & it don't look good.
I hope my efforts & success elsewhere in supporting the grass roots will help Managers see I'm looking to develop England from the ground floor up - & have a lot to offer towards the success of England’s longer term future
I don't have any tactical offerings for you - that's quite deliberate, as I don't want to be judged or elected on tactics
The reason for my relegation - I had the weakest team in that league, & my play-off opponent also had a better team. During the P/O, I had a player sent off after 20 mins & we lost the match - so I got relegated & rightly so
I am happy to play in Div III - & get that ridiculous fan mood up again

I see that you are still unable to see my questions. Therefore I shall repost for ALL to see once again and look forward to a reply of sorts.
