It is a bonkers question - particularly for the Italian - but your attitude towards it is worse.

He isn't saying you will pick all your players from III/IV, he's just asking you to name a first 11 using them. Why is that so hard to understand?

You're like the artful dodger; your attempts at ignoring wdp is also pretty commendablez

LOL

I will continue to do my best answering questions that are relevant to my campaign, but not make up fantasy lists of players to suit Phil

Everyone is free to post their vote for the person they decide is best to take England forwards

most importantly the lack of quality young players coming onto the England scene - & it don't look good.

Again, a point you've made that I'd like you to expand upon, having spent around 30-45 minutes going through this and last years U-21 team and looking at the best players on the NT database up to the age of 25 (The ones that stand out), I've found 14 players, not including GK's, that look very promising for serious NT caps either now (The 25yo's) or in the future. Now given that I don't have access to player skills some of these players could be very lopsided in terms of skill distribution and as such value, so I've tried to take their ratings into account aswell.

As such, why do you believe it doesn't look good, what ages were you referring to when answering and what would be a good number of young players of sufficient calibre be?

Note: I have kept the ID's of the players if needed to show I'm not making it up.

I was refering more to very young players that are coming from the J/S's

My concern is more that lack of J/S's - & therefore the quantity of quality players is likely to be reduced in the future

I don't have access to the data base, nor have I done any research to quote any specific numbers or names

A lot of what you have posted sounds like really you want to be running for the U21 position rather than the full NT. If Tom wasn't running would you be running for that job?
2012-02-08 18:04:24
Perhaps you're right - but a double whammy at getting the NT enthusiasm back - encouraging J/S's & being very proactive in communications with Div III/IV Managers might help both NT's in the long run

No - Tom would make no difference to me running for the U20's - albeit I know I would stand no chance of getting elected (Tom's doing a good job)

Just like Tom - I would put the NT 1st & Club 2nd, so it would get a lotta time & dedication from me

Then how do you know that the future doesn't look good? I'm not saying that it couldn't be better, but the loss of quite a few Prem/II sides through quitting has probably hit us fairly hard and any side who has improved their youth set up as a result of moving up the league as a result will have to wait a while before the improvements have a significant impact.

Same reasons as you - senior English Clubs quitting Sokker

Now off for some winter sun & a few days well deserved holiday - will be back Monday to see how the elections finished

Good luck to all the candidates - & thank you to everyone that has taken an interest in my campaign

I'd be interested to know how you will handle the difficult team dynamic of the current England squad.

Stuart Goater is a well known womaniser, often leaving his reality TV star wife at home and being pictured in the dingiest nightclubs in Walthamstow with champagne and hookers.

Leroy Gerry is on a charge from the FA after calling one of the Mcoi players a fat ginger twunt.

Kenny Failes described the recent 2-0 defeat to Portugal as the biggest disappointment he'd faced since running out of petrol on the way over to Shawn Brocksopps girlfriends house.

And while Terry Bensteads' hair transplant seems to have worked, he is as undisciplined, uncouth, and likely to hire grandmothers by the hour as ever.

All this requires the communication skills of a Mourinho, and the patience of several saints to pull together into a cohesive unit.

Oh, no, wait, there I go again, confusing Sk with real life...

as regards to this whole our future looks bad talk, our 18 and 19yo's look pretty awesome :) some of the best players i've seen for us at those ages, we have some gaps such as only 1 or 2 decent 19yo strikers, but we always will due to our low user numbers.

Congrats on winning the election, looks like you've got quite a job on your hands.
