Good idea

Thanks - it may take a few matches to get it working smoothly, but I've got high hopes it will be a good team & we can work well together

The NT staff will be in action next week - as it's such short notice for this week's match v's Ghana

Everything is in place - & I'm confident the new team will do well

9-1 win v's Ghana - so I'm very pleased with that

The wingers done a great job - supplying loads of goal scoring opportunities for the lone striker

Still concerned with the defensive line - as we allowed them 2 clear cut chances to score & they took one of them

Overall a good day in the England office

It's nearly impossible to keep the opponent away from your goal. You will concede chances. That's why it's pointless to defend. You need to attack. Keep the pressure on the other half and you'll end up with less trouble in your own half. Furthermore, through passes are evil. The positioning of your midfield is key to intercept through passes. This also means you really need to keep your midfield and defence close to eachother.

Young English top talent for sure - with Blue, Hunt & Wrixon just 22 years old or less

They are the heart & future of the England squad

Just reflecting back to the Ghana match (that we would expect to win well tbf)

I thought;

Moggs had a super game - being quick off his line & very solid when needing to make reflex saves

Brazier was a wall in defence - very impressed with his performance

Brocksopp was a total menace going forwards - his contribution was immense

Lucy took his 4 goals well - & is a top quality striker for sure

B.Stroud came on as sub, & proved he has the magic to perform at the highest level

All the players in the team done really well - but just a few highlights from my perspective

What do all you English Managers think of England's performance v's Ghana?

England Friendlies

I have suggested we play 2 under 26 year old NT friendlies

It will give our younger NT players the chance to shine - & put themselves forwards for selection for the senior 1st XI

It is now suggested 26 years old (inc) & under v's Serbia

The new Coaches have selected the GK's & Strikers for this week's match

Just waiting for the Mids/Wings & Defenders to be selected

When the England Coaches have selected their players - the Senior Coach & myself will agree the formation(s) & tactic(s) & 1st X1 for the next NT match

Happy Days

Just waiting for Truffs to decide his defenders for the match

He is looking at a couple of young players to perhaps make their NT debuts - decisions decisions....

I'm sure Truffs will come up with the best in form/skilled defenders to take their place in the NT soon

The Coaching team have all pulled together, & we have our squad / formations & tactics sorted out

Some players have been brought back into the squad - & an exciting line up of English talent will give it their best tomorrow

Fingers crossed it all works out well
