Subject: 1st match of the season

a new season is about to begin with usually all important 1-2 and 3-4 matches that could set the tone for the year ahead

playing phil here, beaten him at the start of the season before going on a run of 13 wins before he returned the favor beating me on the very last game

is the new ME, 3D and pitch size going to mix up the cards a little this year?

Nearly threw it away in the final 20 minutes.

Picked the same tactic as my CC cup match, but it seem that the additional tactic was wiped so it went to a default tactic instead!

I will double check that next time, don't want to risk that happening again.

I drew 2-2 with DLR Reserves and was an even game tbh - does'nt mean that conceeding a goal in the 90th minute does'nt hurt!

yep, was looking doomed and then you changed to a 4-2-4 for the last 20 mins!

only managed to score 2 and ended up losing, it was going to be an absolute steal if i scored that chance in the last minute...

here hoping the narrow defeat will help with GD in case it goes down to that but it is not looking too good this season, will have to try a few tactics out following the changes and that could prove costly, the one done for this match was all but effective, oh well, good game from your lot and deserved victory

I won too, which was surprising considering the game changed my tactics at some point to a Sokker standard 442. I have no idea why, but I think that's all my luck for the season used up in one game. :) I see Phil had a similar error.

You have to re-set the additional tactic each time.

I had no idea, figured it would be saved from my previous tactic which I selected.

Won my first game in div III quite easily. A nice start with a full house

5-1 win despite not being able to set my team up properly.

Back in Div IV, 2-0 win.
Lost 33 fans and had a star trainee pick up a 27 day injury, so not a great start..

Lost our 1st match to the title favourites

That has triggered a positive response - to get a new squad together to compete for future honours

NCFC's Youth Academy is looking good - so we hope to have a few new talented players joining the senior squad in the near future, for some top quality training

2 games played, 2 injuries to 2 trainees, 49 days in total. Nice.

Actually just noticed that I forgot to play one of the trainees in a training position. Doh.

Oops - managed to lose to a bot team despite a 12 point difference in ratings and outshooting him 21 to 5. No wonder 31 fans left.

when I first saw the changes in stadium upgrades the first person I thought about was you erikr... this is more dangerous for you than the coach recuruit button as I think you are going to change your pitch size, grass cut, etc every week now...
